180 a night for a room that wasn't particularly special. Don't get me wrong, it was nice enough but i did hope for more considering the price.

Room not ready at 3PM
Location is great, obviously, and the room was perfectly fine.
Check-in was supposed to be possible from 2PM but arriving at 3PM there was no room ready and a young lady wearing a "i am learning" badge was half panicking and first refused to admit, then asked me to wait 15 minutes to "inspect if the room is ready"... a supervisor was too busy to make himself available... only after insisting suddenly a room was ready and without any apology i received a room key. Very disappointing to be welcomed like that... amateur level.

Extremely Disappointed
The property is located in an ideal, party central area of Clarke Quay and close to MRT.
However it ends there. The staff seems are doing what they have to - there is not much pleasure in service. Judgmental looks are everywhere. Paying for buffet is a sheer waste of money. There are better eateries around. Spread is the same everyday. And there seems to be no urgency in replenishing the food. This hotel is by no means economical. The value of money is completely missing. Please compare the daily rates you are quoted by Bookings.com with that of Hotel direct rates. I paid $250 extra for two nights for a standard room with no view at all. The hotel seems to be undercutting bookings.com. Overall - very disappointing. Novotel will not get my business in future!

The cleaner unintentionally taken away our white Sheridan towel (because it was white), however when I asked the staff at checkout whether it’s easy to retrieve it .... and the 1st thing she said “they wouldn’t use your towel!” rather an apology for what happened and tried to help.
